DG’S DISTRICT GOALS

CLUB SERVICE

Club to:-Concentrate on the following Aspects:-

10% Membership growth.

1. Attend Dist. Membership Seminar.

2. Implement strategies for Member Education Program.

3. Retain existing Members.

4. Induct lady Members.

5. Create a Membership Retention plan for the year.

6. Attend Governor’s installation (3rd July, Belgaum.)

7. Maintain club directory; club book and club history.

8. Update classification Roaster (Before 31st August)

9. Recognize an outstanding club member with various club service awards.

10. Maintain following document for club administration-Membership growth charts; Membership roster with personal Details; club constitution & bye laws with amendments; Profile of past Presidents & District Officers.

11. Conduct club assembly to promote ROTARY within the Club.

12. Display the Rotary emblem in the Community.

13. Receive Media Coverage for events.

14. Place Rotary information “Spots” in the newspaper; cable TV.

15. Arrange public Relation Programme.

16. Call prominent citizens to meeting & distribute bulletins.

17. Create Membership Roaster.

18. Gifts Subscription of Rotary Magazines to Colleges; Central and public library.

19. Follow steps to establish & enhance Rotary’s public image by highlighting its programs.

20. Maintain club culture & decorum; during meetings.

21. Promote Members to wear Rotary pin daily.

22. Celebrate imp. Rotary days;

23. Special emphasis to make Governor’s Visit a Memorable one.

24. Organize “GUEST DAY” and “FRIENTS’S DAY” to help increase the membership of the club.

25. Try to bring club members in 100% attendance Network.

26. Attend Dist. Assembly, conference, intercity meets with new members.

27. Celebrate Designated month & Charternite ;

28. Establish rotary Academy; Give Rotary information; arrange quiz.

29. Participate in inter district family exchange.

30. Arrange fellowship trips & trekking.

31. Part President’s participation in Programme.

32. Invite TRF alumni; all the parents in service to give a presentation regarding their service activities.

33. Organise Ann’s Nite; Annetts nite; past president’s day;

34. Weekly Meeting at Business Places of various Rotarians.

35. Arrange public Relation Programmes on various Topics of interest.

36. Distribute Club Bulletins to various District Officer and at the clubs of the districts 3170.

37. Invite Members of diff. faculties to address the club.

38. Make Dinner Meetings lively by arranging good programs for Anns & Annetts.

VOCATIONAL SERVICE

CLUB TO-CONCERTERATE ON FOLLOWING ASPECTS:

1. To organize seminar on Consumer Guidance.

2. To organize Trade fair, building material exhibition; food festival.

3. To organize career guidance Programmes, Work shop and fair.

4. Make Rotary visible by arranging program on 4 way test and honor such organization.

5. Seminar and work shop on ‘Industrial safety’ in various branches of engineering.

6. Workshop on competitive exams; non conventional courses.

7. Honor outstanding personalities with awards.

8. Work shop on entrepreneurship development.

9. Offer free professional service to needy community residents.

10. Help by fund or host a Rotary volunteer.

11. Present New member with a copy of declaration or Rotarian in Business and Progression.

12. Workshop in Employer Employee relation.

13. Information technology fair.

14. Creative motherhood programme.

15. Provide vocational training for skilled and un skilled workers for enhance their quality of life and to make them self sufficient.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

CLUB TO ARRANGE:- Projects in-HUMAN DEVELOPMENT:-

1. Child Care & Children at risk –

Mass immunization for various disease preventions.

2. Seminars and camps on yoga & Meditation. Or self development.

3. Promote National Integrity.

4. High light Indian Culture-Balsankar Camp & Family values.

5. Start a community or School Library.

6. Arrange International Literacy day (8th Sept) for awareness.

7. Celebration of family week (IInd Week of Feb)

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:-

CLUB TO ARRANGE:- Projects in

1. Eye care and preventable blindness.

A) Try to Organize a Matching Grant or World Community Service to provide help in treating eye diseases.

B) Provide Financial Support to an eye camp, eye hospital or cataract Surgery project.

C) Support a project that alleviates Vitamin A Deficiency in Children.

D) Eye donation forum & pledge campaign.

E) Cataract Removal Camps.

2. Family planning Projects-Seminar,: Vesectomy, Laproscopy.

3. Population Growth and Awareness.

4. Blood Donation & Grouping: Prepare a list of donors.

5. MEDICAL Camps for health check up.

6. Dental Care

7. Participation in Government Programmes.

8. Artifical Limb Camps.

9. Leprosy detection and Rehabilitation

10. Cancer awareness and Detection.

HANDICAPPED AND SR. CITIZEN:-

CLUB TO ARRANGE: Projects in

1. Health check up camp.

2. Help to disabled by providing Jaipur foot; Calipers and Tricyle.

3. Help to disabled Women for setting up Telephone booth: DTP Centre, Tailoring Firms.

4. Medical help to needy.

5. Help to Destitute, old age home & Handicapped children(Mentally & Physically)

6. Upgrading of the Park for Sr. Citizens and disabled.

COMMUNITY CONCERN AND NEEDS:-

CLUB TO ARRANGE:- Projects in

1. Safe drinking for Community & School.

2. Public Sanitation for Ladies & Gents.

3. Sanitation for School.

4. Up gradation of Crematorium.

5. Development of Traffic Island.

6. Provision of Bus Shelters.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:

CLUB TO ARRANGE: Projects in:

Keep you City Green and Clean Campaign.

1. Tree plantation.

2. Developing of Gardens.

3. Pollution Control & Emission Checkup Campaign.

4. Waste water and solid Waste Management.

5. Public Health Concern.

6. Program on Preserve Planet Earth.

7. Seminar on alternate energy Sources.

8. POLIO PLUS AND AFP SURILLANCE:-

CLUB TO ARRANGE: Projects in

1. Create awareness Regarding Rotary’s Commitment & Pledge “ERADICATION POLIO” Use print & electric Media.

2. Organize Rally through Residential layouts, slums and E.W. Habitat Arrange street plays.

3. Attend meeting organized by Govt. and Non Govt. Agency.

4. Participation in NID.

i) Transportation of food packets & Vials.

ii) Man Management at various booths.

iii) Involve other partners in service to join hands.

5. Host the preparatory meetings like Review and Planning Meet.

6. Motivation camps: Auto rickshaw announcements, Door to Door Campaign Banner display and distribution of handouts and pamphlets.

7. Participation in AFP, Surveillance Program.

 

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

CLUB TO:

Concentrate on following Aspects:-

1. Participation in World Community Service Program Which Promotes nutrition, education & immunization, health, hunger & humanity, safe drinking water & sanitation.

2. Participation in Matching Grants Program Which Promotes nutrition, education & immunization health hunger & humanity, safe drinking water & sanitation.

3. Participate in Din(Donation in kind Network)

4. Register Members under RRVF and popularize the program of Global Networking fellowship and Rotarian in action.

5. Register for ITHF(International Travel and Hosting Fellowship)

6. Participate or Organize MUNA.

7. Participate in IYE and IFE.

8. Create awareness for Rotary Volunteer ship.

9. Sponsor GSE Team Member and Leader.

10. Arrange for presentation at club Meetings for both incoming and outgoing GSE teams.

11. Promote TRF Fund development.

a) RFSM:PHF;PHF- Sapphire and Multiple; Major Donor, Archklumph; contributions.

b) TARGET-100 Us $(minimum to achieve) per Member.

c) Participate in fund Raising Program.(like Polio Fund Promotion and TRF)

d) Attend TRF Seminar and Steward Ship workshop.

e) Pass on the information to The Members on Various Schemes, scholarships and programs of TRF.

f) Invite TRF alumni and involve them in your club Programs.

12. Recommend Candidate for peace scholar ship.

13. Participate in low cost Housing Project.

14. Participate in Polio Plus Partners Programme.

15. Contribute to a Disaster Relief effort in other Country(if any)

16. Try to secure bequest Commitments.

17. Initiate club to club Rotary Friendship exchange.

18. Call for the Din Bulletin from RI Office for service offered by the Club abroad.

19. Celebration of 23rd Feb World understanding day.
