GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE1. Rotaractors should be encouraged to compete for the membership in GSE team and clubs should give special guidance and training to such candidates. 2. Proper presentation of Rotary projects to be arranged at the time of GSE team visit. 3. Clubs are expected to host at least one member of incoming GSE team visiting the area. 4. Clubs are expected to sponsor at least one member of outgoing GSE team both for leadership and membership positions. FUND PROMOTION 1. Every Roatarian shall contribute to The Rotary Foundation. 2. Clubs should contribute 25% more than that of pervious year. 3. Clubs should participate in district level fund raising programs. 4. Clubs should organize club level fund raising programs. 5. TRF contribution per Rotarian should reach US$100 this year. 6. Clubs donating 100% contribution will receive special award. TRF ALUMNI 1. Clubs should arrange presentations by former RF scholars, GSE team leaders and members and Rotary volunteers. 2. TRF Alumni from the district should attend International TRF alumni conference. 3. District should publish TRF alumni directory. 4. District will host National TRF Alumini Reunion. TRF INFORMATION 1. Clubs should organize TRF information seminar. 2. Clubs should include Rotary Foundation program information in their Bulletins. 3. Quiz contests on TRF information should be arranged on regular basis in club meetings. TRF VOLUNTEERS 1. At least one member from each club should register as a Rotary volunteer. 2. Our district has planned to send a medical team to Uganda. MATCHING GRANTS 1. Clubs should register one need based Matching Grants project and try to get an international partner and make use of DDF. 2. Matching Grants Projects under implementation should be completed during this year on priority basis. 3. Final reports of completed projects should be submitted and files should be closed. 4. Clubs should maintain a record of history of Matching Grant projects. 5. Every club must have a program for safe drinking water/sanitation block/ beautifying one Rotary Class Room in a school. SCHOLARSHIPS 1. Each club should identify suitable candidate for low income country vocational scholarship. 2. Each club should encourage participation of qualified persons for both short & long term peace scholarships. |
