R I District 3170 New Generation Conference was held on 28th. Sept.2008 at Kolhapur hosted by RC Kolhapur Heritage.Forum Leader was DG Rtn.Dr.Pranesh Jahagirdar. Maj Sanjay Shinde and Mrs Vidya Pachapurkar were keynote speakers.Interactors led by DIR Ashwini and Rotaractors led by DRR Paresh participated in big number.The event was very well organized under the leadership of President Sandeep Pore,Secretary Santosh Patil and Event Chairman Rtn.Sameet Kahatwkar.  R I District 3170 GSE Team 2008-09 selection was held on 4th and 5th Oct.2008 at Kolhapur hosted by RC Kolhapur Sunrise.DG Rtn.Dr.Pranesh Jahagirdar,DGE Rtn.Gurudatt Bhakta IPDG Rtn.Bazil D`souza,DRFC Chair PDG Rajubhai Doshi,GSE Counsellor PDG Dilip Salgaocar and Dist.GSE Chair (outgoing) Rtn.Manoj Caculo served as panel members.The event was very well organized under the leadership pf President Rajiv Parikh,Secretary and event Chairman Rtn.Ravi Sanghvi . Rtn. Ganesh Bhat was selected the leader of a well balanced team.
