 Dear fellow Rotarians,
This year, we have set ourselves an ambitious goal: to Make Dreams Real for the world’s children by reducing child mortality. I believe we can achieve this goal, if we focus our efforts and work together. But I also know that at the end this year, there will be a great deal left for us to do to bring health and hope to all of the world’s children. If we are to reduce child mortality, in this Rotary year and for many years to come, we need to have Rotarians to do it. Every project we do in water, health and hunger, and literacy helps create a better world. Every project helps change the world, a little bit at a time. |

 My Dear Dream Presidents,
Warm Greetings and Happy Independence Day!!!!! Sandhya and I are overwhelmed with the love and affection that has been showered on us when large number of Rotarians descended at Bijapur on 1" July 2008 for my installation as your District Governor. I could see friends from all corners of our District and outside our District and country that too on a working day. Even the RI Director Ashok Mahajan traveled long distances by road to be with us on this occasion.

It's the beginning of the new Rotary year - a great time to implement the Club Leadership Plan, if you haven’t already. The Club Leadership Plan (EN-245) is the administrative structure recommended for Rotary clubs by the RI Board. Although it isn't mandatory for any club to adopt the Plan, every club can benefit from reviewing the plan and considering how to standardize its administrative procedures in order to have more time for service and fellowship. Review the Club Leadership Plan as your first step in revitalizing your club. Under the plan, your club will develop a long-range plan, involve all members, and provide for continuity and succession planning. Implement the Club Leadership Plan. RC Sawantwadi have distributed study materials and sweets to the students of Zilla Parishad School No.1, Sawantwadi. The school is adopted by the Club and the club take care of all the needs of the students every year. So far the club has provided the school with wooden desks and uniforms are distributed to all the students in the school every year. |

Rotary Club of Kolhapur Heritage donated one INFANT BABY WARMER to N.I.C.U. department of Civil Hospital Kolhapur. Where no needy baby will be deprived of medical treatment in well equipped set up, for the reason of unaffordable cost of treatment. |
