 Project Name : CRITICAL CARE AMBULANCE.A state of the art ambulance fitted with all the necessary life saving equipment was donated to Wanless Hospital by Rotray Club of Miraj Midtown. The ambulance has all the equipment that is present in a ICU of a hospital which enables a patient whos on life supporting systems to be transported. |

Clubs have undertaken a variety of programmes during July & August. Some of the projects maybe very BIG and some maybe SMALL, all in accordance of the need of the Community in any particular area. The monthly reporting has been 90% and almost 50% of them have been electronically through the website. The saving of paper, printing and postageis allowing clubs to save more for community service and also to Preserve Planet Earth. Many Clubs are planning matching grants projects on a big scale. PDG Rtn. Rajendra Doshi is the DRFC and Rtn. Durgesh Haritay is the DCC for Matching Grants Projects and bothe of them are constantly helping Clubs in finding Matching Grants Partners around the world. |

Rotary Club of Kolhapur Central with the help of its Interact Club of Indumatidevi Girls High school arranged Raksha Bandhan on 16th Aug 2008 on the day of Raksha Bandhan for the Jawans of the Rescue team came for rescue in the Flood Affected area in Kolhapur District. It was very emotional moment for some the Jawans as they were celebrating Raksha Bandhan after 4 to 5 years. Many Rotarians were present for this Programme. |

The 2008-09 RYLA Committee is currently accepting applications to the 2009 International RYLA for both youth participants and counselors. The 2009 International RYLA will be held 19-21 June 2009 in Birmingham, England, immediately preceding the 100th Rotary International Convention. |
