R I .Dist.3170 TRF Seminar is organized at Kolhapur on 9th Nov.2008,  hosted by RC Kolhapur at Bhasha Bhavan  in the beautiful campus of Shivaji University Kolhapur. R I Director Elect and TRF Trustee PDG Rtn.K.R Ravindran from Srilanka will be the Chief Guest for the seminar.

There will be an interactive meeting with all the Assistant Governors, TRF Committee Members of R I   Dist.3170 on the same day evening.

 A Major Donors and Prospective Major Donors Dinner has been arranged on 9thNov.2008 night.

DG PRANESH

District Meet on Community Service was held on 21st Sept.2008 at Bagalkot hosted by RC Bagalkot.

The Forum Leader was DG Dr.Pranesh Jahagirdar .PDG Rtn.Dr.Girish Udapudi and noted social worker from Gram Vikas Foundation, Sindhudurg  Maharsahtra,Dr.Prasad Deodhar delivered key note addresses.Rtn.Dr.N.A.Charanthimath,Rtn.Ganesh Bhat,Rtn.Somashekhar Magdum,Rtn.Dr.Girish Msurkar,Rtn.Ravi Nerlikar and Rtn.Dr.Pralhad Huilgol made presentation on various tools for community moderated by DGE Gurudatta Bhakta.Breakout sessions were held to develop roadmap for undertaking community service projects.76 Rotarians coming from different parts of our Dist.participated in the event. The meet was very well organized by Rotarians of RC Bagalkot led by President Vijay Burli.

Multi District GSE orientation Meet was held at Murdeshwar on 7th Sept.2008 organized jointly with R I Dist.3180 hosted by RC Bhatkal.

The meet was inaugurated by DG Rtn. Dr.Pranesh and DG Rtn.Krishnashetty.PDG Rtn.Bhau Naik, DRFC Chair 3180 PDG Rtn.Suryaprakash Bhat IPDG Nagendran from 3180 Dist.Chair Manoj Caculo, alumni Rtn.Ravikiran Kulkarni, Rtn Dr.Suraj Pawar served as resource persons. The meet was attended by more than 100 delegates coming from both the Districts including GSE leader and member aspirants.

The meet was very well organized by Rotarians of RC Bhatkal led by President Rtn. Syed Zubair Moulana and Event Chair Dr.Gaurish Padukone.

1.Invite Foundation Alumni to TRF information meetings.

2. Publish a TRF information bulletin and circulate amongst the members.

3. Encourage members to register as Rotary volunteers.

4. Establish contacts with clubs in other countries for partnering Matching Grant Projects.

5. Motivate members to participate in NIDs. Arrange fund raising activities.

6. Attend District 3170 TRF Seminar to be held at Kolhapur on 9th Nov.2008

7. Conduct club level TRF Seminar

8. Invite general public/local dignitaries and present TRF programmes

9.Visit project sites.Meet project beneficiaries and explain them on upkeeping of assets given under humanitarian grant programmes of TRF
