FOUR INDIANS AND ONE PAKISTANI FIGURE IN THE 2008-09 RECEIPIENTS OF THE TRF SCHOLARSHIPS FUND POOL.

The Rotary Foundation (TRF) has announced the eighth class of Ambassadorial Scholars funded by the Scholarships Fund Pool. Four Indians and One Pakistani figure in the list of these 26 scholars who represent 21 countries and will study abroad at institutions of higher learning in 10 countries in 2008-09.

These are :

1 Mihir Singh - India Economics at Columbia University ,MA, USA

2 Puja Jain - India  Public Policy  at University of MAAmherst, MA, USA

3 Swetha Vaddiraju - India Business at Fairfield University ,USA

4 Mamatha Anand - India Law at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA USA

5 Fozia Mushtaq - Pakistan Special Education at San Francisco State,University, CA, USA

Rotary Club of Kolhapur Heritage donated one INFANT BABY WARMER to N.I.C.U. department of Civil Hospital Kolhapur. Where no needy baby will be deprived of medical treatment in well equipped set up, for the reason of unaffordable cost of treatment.

Hoping and dreaming of a better world are not enough if we are unwilling to work - but when we work towards our dreams, wonderful things can happen.
